Kanye West's collection with Adidas may be more anticipated than the Red Octobers.
Well maybe not exactly but sneakerheads and Yeezy fans alike are anxious to see Kanye's new sneaker but sources say they won't be available until next year.
This past week, Yeezy performed at the Adidas Global Brand Conference. He also talked about the upcoming collaboration between him and the brand.
Rumor has it that Kanye's collection would be released in June but according to High Snobiety, there may have been a misunderstanding with the release date.
Internal sources say that in June, West will be internally presenting his collection. Essentially that means the official release is actually slated for Spring 2015.
It is possible that there will be a first sneaker coming in Fall/Winter 2014, but that is not confirmed yet.
Back in December, MStars reported that during a radio sit-down with Stylz & Roman in Chicago, Ye confirmed that his Adidas collection will debut in September 2014.
Kanye signed a deal with Adidas back in November after cutting ties with Nike. He claimed that he never received any royalties for his involvement with Nike.
"Like if it's for myself, I would have been cool just sitting in Nike not getting no royalties," Kanye said. "Letting people line up for the Yeezys and not-you know. When I'm having negotiations and then I go and look in my daughter's eyes and when I go and negotiate after that I'm like 'Oh y'all ain't finna talk to me like that. We finna get this money right.'"
