Blake Shelton Has Never Set the House on Fire - But the Yard is Another Story!

When Blake Shelton sat down with People Magazine to talk about how closely his song "Doin' What She Likes" mirrors his real life, he had some interesting admissions to make ... he doesn't really do that much cleaning around the house and he's never caught the house on fire (with or without romantic gestures behind it). He has, however, had to call the fire department more than once when burning trash got away from him and caught the yard on fire!

He told People, "I've burned the trash a few times and it got away from me. I've caught the yard on fire. I've burnt up some acreage and had to call the fire department a couple of times."

Though Miranda has had some oops moments in the kitchen, she's never quite reached the calling 911 stage of mis-steps. He shard, "We caught some catfish, and she decided to make them into a healthy meal. So she baked them. They sucked, real bad. The only thing you can do to make catfish edible is fry them."

It's all about the thought behind it for the country couple though. "When things go wrong or don't turn out the way you pictured them in your head, you just have to go with the best intentions defense," he jokes. "I have a lot of good intentions," he explained.

Country tough - manly and whipped at the same time!
