Ex-Swedish House Mafia member Steve Angello has unveiled the first chapter to his new artist album Wild Youth. In addition to the six songs that he has packaged and released right now, the "Knas" DJ has also released the video to his recently released single with Australian group The Presets titled "Remember."
The first chapter of the LP covers three previously released tracks, "Wasted Love" with Temper Trap's Dougy Mandagi, which was the album's first single last year, "Children Of The Wild" with Mako and "Remember," which was just released.
It also includes three new songs, "Tiger," "Prisoner" with Gary Go, who became famous in the EDM space for his track "Cinema" alongside Benny Benassi and finally "The Ocean" collaboration with Saturday, Monday and Julia Spada.
"Prisoner" has been a staple of Steve Angello's sets for close a year now, so hardcore fans of the DJ will be familiar with the haunting melodies and key work, however "Tiger" and "The Ocean" are new to his listeners. All six tracks deviate from the booming festival main stages that he occupies and can churn out the same type of repetitive beat over and over again. Wild Youth is more song and melody based, skewing towards indie dance in some areas. They are more listening music than uptempo dance beats.
Directed by Lance Drake, the video for "Remember" follows three boys (Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso?) as they travel in a forest together on an epic journey sharing an imaginary cigarette and running to a river where a fire burns in the middle. One boy ventures out to the fire only to realize it is an illusion and the other two run away together. Trying to run after them, the other boy comes across an underground vault where inside he finds a piano and starts to play. The boy flashes into Steve Angello before the piano lights on fire and Angello ends up back outside by the flaming river.

Steve Angello - Remember (feat. The Presets)Today marks the release of the first chapter of my debut solo album 'Wild Youth.' For the past three years since departing from Swedish House Mafia, I've dedicated myself to this album as part of following the creative path I feel so strongly about for myself. It's been an incredibly personal and exposing process as the album chronicles my entire life. This video for "Remember" embodies an important part of my tale. I wanted to touch upon a time in my life that meant so much to me and hope you appreciate it as I do. I'll be here with you all as we go live right now and will meet you in the comments section for any questions or thoughts you have. I really appreciate your support!Much Love S—APRE-ORDER 'WILD YOUTH' HERE (receive Chapter 1 automatically): https://smarturl.it/Wild-Youth
