Arctic Monkeys' 'AM' named best-selling album from independent record stores in the UK

The Arctic Monkey's fifth studio album has been named the best-selling album in independent records stores across the UK over the past 12 months, Digital Spy reports.

According to a new chart compiled by the Official Charts Company, Daft Punk, Robbie Williams, London Grammar and Queens of the Stone Age are in the Top 5 of the 10-best selling albums to have been purchased from outlets, ahead of tomorrow's Record Store Day celebrations.

The list takes into consideration last year's Record Store Day and is compiled based on physical record sales from a number of independent retailers.
