The Weeknd, Wiz Khalifa, Ariana Grande Dominate Pandora's Most Thumbed-Up Songs of 2015

It may only be the end of November, but definitive lists of the most popular songs of the year are starting to roll out. This week, Internet radio giant Pandora announced its 100 most "thumbed up" songs of 2015, including some massive hits from The Weeknd, Ed Sheeran, Wiz Khalifa and more.

The soundtracks to Fifty Shades of Grey and Furious 7 fared the best in the top 10, as The Weeknd's hit single "Earned It" topped the chart, Forbes reports. Another early 2015 hit, Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth's "See You Again" was the second most-liked song on Pandora. Another big Fifty Shades hit, Ellie Goulding's "Love Me Like You Do" was the 10th most-liked song of the year.

The top 10 was dominated by hits that ruled the airwaves early in the year (given, they had the most time to garner thumbs up). Mark Ronson's "Uptown Funk," Ed Sheeran's "Thinking Out Loud" and Nicki Minaj's The Pinkprint cut "Only" round out the top five.

The Weeknd did the best on Pandora's thumbs up chart, with four songs hitting the top 100. Two of those songs, "Earned It" and "The Hills" are in the top 10. Meanwhile, "Can't Feel My Face" and "Often" also landed high, at Nos. 32 and 81, respectively.

Other artists with multiple songs in the top 100 include Taylor Swift ("Blank Space," "Style"), Meghan Trainor ("Lips Are Movin," "All About That Bass") and Ariana Grande ("Problem," "One Last Time," "Love Me Harder").
