Dropkick Murphys have announced new tour dates and will perform multiple dates in Boston on a traditional St. Patrick's week run. The tour will commence on Feb. 18 at House of Blues in Cleveland and will run all the way to Boston for four dates at venues that are as of yet unannounced.
The tour will commemorate their 20th anniversary as a band and opening acts will include Tiger Army and Darkbuster, as well as a surprise guest. Tour tickets are slated to go on sale Nov. 27 at 10 a.m. via the band's official website.
"It's been an honor and a privilege to do this band for twenty years," Ken Casey said to Alternative Press about the tour. "Considering the band started on a bet, I'm pretty damn proud of what we've been able to accomplish. After 20 years, we are more grateful and enthusiastic than ever ... the best is yet to come!"
