In the midst of their current tour, Bring Me The Horizon have announced a one-off show at London's massive Royal Albert Hall backed by a full orchestra, in support of their latest record That's The Spirit and the popular cancer charity Teenage Cancer Trust.
The show, which is one of many that will take place in support of Teenage Cancer Trust in April of 2016 as part of their 15th annual concert series, will most likely sell out the 5,000 capacity venue for the April 22 date. In past years, the benefit has featured performances from Oasis' Liam and Noel Gallagher, Little Britain, the Kaiser Chiefs and Franz Ferdinand.
The Who's frontman Roger Daltrey, the charity's 15-year CBE, has helped to raise nearly £20 million in support of young people with cancer by recruiting some of the biggest names in comedy and music. "Over the years I've been lucky enough to be part of many very memorable moments in the shows history," Daltrey says. "I am incredibly proud of what we have already achieved and am inspired about what we will accomplish together."
In keeping with their charity spirit, Bring Me The Horizon had also recently donated $10,000 in merchandise sales to their friends in the band The Ghost Inside after their brutal car crash that left two bus drivers dead, according to NME. In other news, BMTH's frontman Oli Sykes had also recently lashed out at Coldplay's Chris Martin for possibly copying their Sempiternal "flower of life" artwork for the pop rock band's upcoming album A Head Full Of Dreams.
Tickets for the Royal Albert Hall show will go on sale this Friday (Dec. 4) at 9 a.m and more details can be found via the trust's website.
