The West Coast has pretty much flooded the mainstream music industry and three Cali newcomers are looking to change the game in a major way.
Frequent collaborators YG, DJ Mustard and Ty Dolla $ign have decided to join forces and start their own label, according to XXL.
YG made the announcement during a visit to 93.7 The Beat in Houston.
"It's about to get real," YG said. "We about to bring back that, when Snoop and Dre had what they had, when they first started off, we about to bring that back."
During the interview, YG also spoke on recent comparisons of him and DJ Mustard to Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre.
A comparison that he deemed understandable, the Compton rapper says similar to Snoop and Dre, he and Mustard were friends before they started doing music together.
"It's a blessing. Everything is a blessing," he said. "We're trying to get that Snoop and Dre money."
And YG's got a plan to make that Snoop and Dre money.
YG revealed that he's got a "little situation going on" with DJ Mustard and Ty Dolla $ign.
Although he didn't want to talk about it too much, he did offer up a few details on the label.
"Me, Mustard and Ty got a label," YG said excitedly. "We got a little situation going on. We got a situation that's about to occur. Pushaz Ink the label. Ty own part of it, Mustard own part of it, I own part of it. So you know it's about to get real."
