Though it is still 2015, 2016 festival season is already raring its head with lineup announcements and ticket sales as things start to get earlier and earlier each year. In April a motley crew of artists will descend on Austin, Texas for Euphoria Music & Camping Festival for a four-day bonanza of music and outdoor activities. Among those who will headline the lineup include Juicy J, Bassnectar, Tycho, Dillon Francis, STS9 and GRiZ.
The lineup is primarily electronic music, but it shoots for a bit left of center, eschewing the traditional bookings you might see on an Electric Daisy Carnival or Tomorrowland lineup like Martin Garrix or Steve Angello for some jamband and bass-heavier acts. Among those included will be SNBRN, Wave Racer, Loudpvck, Com Truise, Space Jesus, Jai Wolf and Branchez.
There will also be some live electronic acts like Lettuce, Goldfish, Bass Physics, The Polish Ambassador and the aforementioned STS9.
Though the lineup is dominated by electronic and dance-leaning jambands, it also has some hip-hop in Juicy J and Lil Dicky.
Euphoria Music Festival will take place from April 7-10 at the Carson Creek Ranch outside of Austin. Texas. Considering it is just a few weeks after Austin's marquee cultural event each year, SXSW, it is remarkable there is a market for Euphoria, but several years in it still stands.
Past years have featured the likes of Datsik, Roger Shah, Zeds Dead, Pretty Lights, RL Grime, Bonobo, Baauer, Lange as Euphoria expanded and evolved its sound to where it is today.
Pre-sale tickets are available now starting at $119 plus fees with a payment option for those who can't pony up the cash all at once. This is just phase one of the lineup, so stay tuned for the second batch of artists soon.
