Phil Wickham Hits the Road

Last week, critically acclaimed singer/songwriter/worship leader Phil Wickham released The Ascension: Deluxe Edition. The project contains the 11 songs from the original release, The Ascension as well as 10 new acoustic songs. Wickham described the new tunes, saying, "The deluxe version has the songs in their most raw form. The 10 acoustic tracks were recorded in one take with just me and an acoustic guitar. These are what the songs sounded like when they were written, before the studio process started. Hopefully they can hit people in a new and fresh way."

Next month, he'll be taking the new music on the road to share it with fans both old and new.
