Now that the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum expansion is complete, there are plenty of new exhibits scheduled to open within the next year. The first will be "Kenny Rogers: Through the Years," which will honor the 2013 Hall of Fame inductee.
The new exhibit, which will be located in the museum's East Gallery, will open on August 15, 2014 and will run through June 14, 2015. Called a "cameo exhibition," the museum says that the project will spawn a series of related programs. The details will be released at a later date.
Kenny Rogers became a member of the Hall of Fame along with Bobby Bare and the late Cowboy Jack Clement. 2013 was also the year that Rogers received the Country Music Association's Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award.
This year, the legend was listed on CMT All-Time Top 40: Artist's Choice as a top pick by Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Billy Currington, Darius Rucker and Oak Ridge Boys.
