Stockholm based electronic music duo Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman have unveiled an exciting new chapter in their already proud and fruitful early careers. The duo who are responsible for tracks like "Payback," "ID2" and "Survivor" have launched their very own label titled Buce Records and will kick things off with their long-awaited collaboration with legendary house vocalist Ron Carroll, "Running."
"Running" has all of the power and promise that has been well-established in their potent discography. The pair craft another exquisite melody with a delicate build, crescendoing into euphoric rush of synths and percussion, while a subtle whistle that shows the attention to detail that these two put into every song of theirs.
The name for Buce Records came about by a happy accident. The duo and their designer started with the concept of an ancient warrior on a horse. They then realized that it looked like Alexander The Great and his horse Bucephalus. The name Buce stuck and became Buce Records.
Unlike previous attempts to find a proper label name, the only record company called Buce Records was a dormant label whose only release was in 1987 titled "Roll The Dice" -- the exact same name as Dimitri Vanelis & Wyman's first official single in 25 years later in 2012. The name was destiny.
"Running" is available to stream below on SoundCloud and will be available as a free download and on Spotify next Friday, Dec. 11. Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman are known for their potent treasure trove of unreleased tracks and this new label will give them an outlet for all of those tunes. Get ready for plenty of new music from these two and some other hand-selected up-and-comers like the mysterious Gazlind.
