Rick Ross has released his brand new album Black Market. The personal album has features from some of the biggest names in rap, pop and r&b like Nas, John Legend, Future, Chris Brown and Mariah Carey. Black Market is available to download and stream at your favorite site.
Ross has been busy in 2015, releasing his mixtape Black Dollar earlier in the summer and then the freestyle-mixtape Renzel Remixes in the lead up to Black Market. Now fans have his most polished work of the year in Black Market that takes on some very personal issues for Rozay like failed relationships, his mother, drug use and more. There are still the luxurious and braggadocios lines you expect from a Rozay album about money, cars and women, but he delves into some other topics here.
The production varies from slower, more soulful records to booming, horn-filled or 808 soaked beats that can be found up and down the Rick Ross discography from start to finish.
Rick Ross has been making headlines for his alleged role as one of hip-hop's biggest ghostwriters. He addresses this on the eighth track titled "Ghostwriter," calling out several people like LMFAO and Mike Caren and talking about his life, "Any nigga with cheddar I bet I can make it better / Wanna live the life so they gotta pay the fee / Last ten years everybody came to me."
