Carly Rae Jepsen's 'Run Away With Me' Recorded in Simlish for New 'The Sims 4' Expansion Pack

Carly Rae Jepsen: Run Away With Me

Simlish is the made-up language in the Sims world, so to inject modern pop into the game while keeping things cannon, The Sims enlisted Jepsen to rerecord "Run Away With Me" in the Sims' native tongue. While we can't quite decipher the entire lyrics, at least we know that "baby" in Simlish is "nobu."

Beyond some language tweaks, the inherent poppy goodness and the melody of Jepsen's original English "Run Away With Me" remains intact. So now you can jam out while your Sims also dance on screen and there are TWO versions of one of 2015's glitziest pop gems.

Jepsen isn't the only pop star to lend her vocals to The Sims 4: Get Together. The expansion pack also has remade versions of Zedd's "Beautiful Now," Tori Kelly's "Expensive," The Royal Concept's "Fashion," GIVERS' "Record High Record Low" and more, according to The Sims Community.

Carly Rae Jepsen's new album EMOTION is out now. "Run Away With Me" was the album's second single. It was preceded by the promotion of "I Really Like You." Jepsen's latest single is "Your Type."
