Lil Boosie recently paid a visit to BET's 106 & Park to reveal the title and release of his forthcoming album.
Boosie revealed that his album will be titled Touchdown 2 Cause Hell. The LP will be released July 15.
Vibe previously reported that fans can expect a different type of Boosie this time around. He told the magazine that he's hanging up his bad boy ways.
"You'll never see me with guns in videos anymore," he explained. "When you get in trouble and they prosecute you, they show that to the jury. You won't hear me calling out D.A.'s names anymore. It's not worth it. It's all about the music. It's all about being successful."
However, fans can expect some all-star features on the LP.
Complex reports that the album will feature appearances by 2 Chainz, Young Jeezy and T.I. to name a few.
And there is plenty more in the works. Boosie boasted that while in prison he wrote over 1,000 songs. He plans to release two projects this year.
"July 15th and then we gone touchdown and hit 'em again in December," Boosie said.
Before he ended his visit to 106 & Park, Boosie delivered a heartfelt message to the youth.
"Don't try to live rappers' lifestyles. Jail is not cool," Boosie said. "Jail is no place for a human being to be. I just want to tell 'em stay focused and really just stay in school. Follow your dreams. Do what you do best, take care of yourself and stay alive."
Stay tuned.
