Justin Bieber just can't seem to stay out of trouble with the law.
According to Vibe magazine, the Biebs was recently detained by U.S. Customs officials at Los Angeles Airport for nearly four hours on Thursday afternoon.
Bieber was returning from a trip to Japan where he went sightseeing with his mother, Pattie Mallette.
Upon his return, Bieber was ordered to stay in the airport for an unspecified reason. He was finally allowed to leave that evening with his four bodyguards in tow.
According to the New York Daily News, Bieber underwent secondary questioning at LAX airport which is "routine" for travelers with open criminal cases.
JB currently faces a DUI charge in Miami Beach and an assault charge in Toronto.
Prosecutors in Los Angeles are also considering a possible vandalism case against Bieber over an alleged egg assault.
Authorities believe Bieber egged his neighbors mansion in Calabasas, Calif., on Jan. 9.
The incident reportedly caused enough damage to warrant a felony prosecution.
The 20-year-old pop sensation came under fire while overseas for visiting a controversial shrine in Japan.
US Magazine reports that while in Tokyo, Bieb visited Yasukuni Shrine, a memorial that honors those who lost their lives during World War II, including war criminals and those who committed condemned acts.
He posted a photo of himself in front of the shrine on Instagram along with the caption, "Thank you for your blessings."
His fans in China were outraged by his photo prompting Bieber to issue an apology.
