Ahead of the release of his new album Royalty, Chris Brown has decided to announce a series of intimate concert performances.
The "Liquor" singer is doing three "Royalty Live" shows in Chicago, San Francisco and Los Angeles. As noted by HotNewHipHop, each show will be held at venues smaller than Breezy's norm. Proceeds from the ticket sales will be donated to the Children's Mirale Network and Best Buddies. Brown will reportedly give back a $1 from each ticket sale.
The announcement comes after Brown was forced to cancel some of his Australia and New Zealand tour dates.
On Black Friday, Brown released a 34-track project titled Before The Party, The mixtape served as a prelude to Royalty, which was originally slated to be released on the late November date. Royalty was ultimately pushed back until Dec. 18.
The album will be Brown's second project for 2015, following a collaborative album Fan of a Fan back in February with Tyga, and his seventh solo studio effort.
In October, Brown took to his Instagram account to share the album's cover art, which shows him cuddling his toddler daughter as she rests her head on his shoulder. Back in August, he announced that his intentions to name the project after his child. Earlier this year, he found out that he was a father and since then, he regularly shares photos of the two together. In recent months, Brown was awarded joint custody of Royalty.
Aside from his own project, Brown also made a guest appearance on DJ Khaled's latest release, I Changed A Lot. He appears on the new single "Gold Slugs," featuring August Alsina and Fetty Wap. He is also featured on previously released cuts like "How Many Times" and "Hold You Down." Brown is also featured on "Sorry" from Rick Ross' Black Market. He will make a guest appearance on Alsina's forthcoming album on a track titled "Been Around The World."
