Paul Simon and wife Edie Brickell charged with disorderly conduct following 'family dispute'

Paul Simon, 72, and his wife Edie Brickell, 48, have reportedly been arrested after a domestic dispute. According to NBC, Connecticut police responded to a "family dispute" involving the two singers Saturday night around 8:20 p.m.

The couple, who married in 1992 and has three children together, was released and charged with disorderly conduct.

An officer told the New Canaan Advertiser that the incident was "your typical dispute. Some yelling and screaming and pushing. If it wasn't the name, it wouldn't be this kind of deal."

No other information has been given, and neither Simon nor Brickell have been reached for comments.
