The schedule for Demi Lovato's upcoming European tour will be based which cities tag her current single "Neon Lights" the most on the app Shazam, Digital Spy reports.
The tour will be booked in cities with the most tags; however, not all markets will make the tour.
In a video announcement Lovato says, "This is a message for all my European Lovatics. I need your help booking my next tour. The way it works is very simple. The next time you hear my single 'Neon Lights,' pull out your phone and Shazam the track. From there, we're going to take all the information to plan my 2014 European tour around who's tagging my music the most. This is the first time this has ever been done, so join me in making history."
The promotion begins today and will run for the next three weeks. This fan-booked tour marks Lovato's first European tour in five years. The dates and locations of the tour will be announced at the end of May.
