Twenty-three years after Dr Dre and Eazy-E's infamous feud broke up the rap group NWA, the children of the two rappers have united to form Sons of NWA (or NWA Resurrected) and hope to start touring in the U.K. this summer, NME reports.
The group, made up of Lil Eazy E and E3 (sons of the late Eazy-E) as well as Curtis Young (son of Dr Dre), recently joined forces with original NWA member DJ Yella. However, no children of NWA's Ice Cube or MC Ren have been associated with the project.
According to an email obtained by Noisey, the group is "looking to tour across Europe July & August. Club shows, festivals etc. It's not cheap naturally but you wouldn't expect it to be, right?"
Lil Eazy-E denied that the group was taking advantage of their fathers' legacy in an interview last year with OC Weekly. "The talent is in our blood and it is our birthright," he said. "We are very happy and excited that we have this capability to continue what our fathers imprinted the game with."
