When reality TV's most talked about sisters announced they'd be sharing exclusive content and information via their personal websites and digital apps on a consistent basis, they weren't lying. On Sunday (Dec. 13), Keeping Up With the Kardashians star Khloe Kardashian shared two video chats with her fans detailing her favorite stress reliever and her relationship with God.
The 31-year-old television personality has had an eventful year to say the least. Her estranged husband Lamar Odom survived an extreme health scare and she's been by his side in the hospital every step of the way. Their marriage status also put her in charge of any medical decisions that would or will need to be made.
Despite the amount of pressure she was under during this time, some media outlets were relentless on tearing her down and discrediting her true intentions with the former Los Angeles Lakers. Along with the support of her family, Kardashian has also found a way to overcome her anxiety through exercise. Her new fit body isn't the only perk of going to the gym, revealing it's another way to rid her life of stress.
“I promise you, the gym has taken away so much of my stress,” Kardashian said on her website, according to Us Weekly. “It has helped calm me down. When I’m fidgety and I just feel like everything is closing in, I go to the gym. You’re building endorphins and feeling good about yourself. It’s saved me.”
She referred to 2015 in its entirety as "horrible," but is hopeful the new year will be filled with more positivity and good energy. This year hasn't been a complete bust for the youngest Kardashian sister. Not only did she release a top-selling book called Strong Looks Better Naked, but she also added became an aunt to her third nephew, Saint West.
Kardashian, who has remained open about her spiritual connections and beliefs, told fans she's thankful for all the experiences and roller coaster of emotions she's endured. She cites prayer and constant communication with God as the reasoning behind her strength to get through tough times.
Kardashian went on to explain just how important her relationship with God is in her life, as well as, the lessons she's learned throughout her spiritual journey.
"Counting my blessings, I pray a lot," Kardashian said. "I have a really close relationship with God. I have more conversations with God, and it’s very therapeutic to me. It helps me through a lot of trials and tribulations. I also still make a point to thank God for the trials. As long as you never question or doubt why you’re going through something, you’ll always get through it and rise above. Be proud of your life, and own it.”
