Donald Trump Can Add Yet Another Group of People That "Love Him:" Neo-Nazis

Donald Trump's rallies have often been mired in controversy. In response an incident in which a member of the Black Lives Matter movement was beaten at one of his rallies, Trump opined that the protestor who was roughed up, likely deserved it. Trump's rallies have attracted even white supremacists with his anti-immigrant and Islamaphobic rhetoric. However, unfathomably, it seems the infamous Donald Trump rallies have hit a new low. At a recent event in Las Vegas, Nevada, Black Lives Matter protesters interrupted Trump. While this is not an uncommon occurrence, Trump supporters reacted with particular vitriol, with one even voicing Nazi rhetoric.

According to NBC News, Trump supporters responded with extreme vitriol to the interruption from the Black Lives Matter protesters. Although this has occurred before, the rhetoric from these supporters seemed to represent an increase in racial acrimony and intolerance. As protesters were being dragged out of the rally by security, they were physically accosted by the attendees. Some in the crowd shouted racial epithets and other insults as the protesters were being taken away.

It is reported that one supporter yelled "Shoot him!" "Kick his ass," and "Light the motherf*cker on fire!" According to NBC, "A large middle aged man shouted, 'Sieg heil!' - a Nazi Germany-era salute - as the protester was taken away." Another man screamed "He's a Muslim! He's a Muslim!" as the protesters were escorted out.

Trump, in the past, has not been a fan of Black Lives Matter. During his long, rambling, oft-unrehearsed campaign speeches, he has repeatedly responded to interruptions from the activist group with a rude dismissal. This stands in stark contrast to candidate Bernie Sanders, who handed his microphone to a member of the "Black Lives Matter" movement, in order to hear them out at one of his rallies.
