One Direction, James Corden Play Carpool Karaoke with 'No Control' Dance, 'Drag Me Down' Remix

It was obvious two weeks ago when One Direction appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden that a "Carpool Karaoke" was on its way, and on Tuesday night (Dec. 15), the "History" band and the late night talk show host finally delivered by taking a drive around Los Angeles and jamming to a variety of 1D fan favorite songs, like "What Makes You Beautiful," "No Control" and "Drag Me Down."

Corden really only meant to pick up Niall Horan on his way to work, but because One Direction seems to travel in a pack, Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles and Liam Payne also piled in to the back seat of his Range Rover. Right off the bat, this was a massive jam, featuring rousing performances of 1D's breakout hit "What Makes You Beautiful," "Perfect" and "Story of My Life."

The carpool adventure wasn't without a few hijinks, of course. Payne kept turning the seat warmer on for Styles, making his butt a little too warm for comfort, the boy band and Corden also appeared to get McDonald's (as Styles sipped on a soda and Payne snacked on fries) and, of course, right as soon as the car took off Styles had to "take a wee."

The biggest moment of the carpool karaoke came when One Direction finally delivered on a music video (of sorts) for "No Control," a fan favorite song from FOUR that never got the proper video treatment. Calling back to boy bands of yore, Corden choreographed a dance for the boys to execute and with a few extra flares and matching denim jackets (so '90s!), we finally got a visual complete with a few nodding winks and crotch points.

Corden also dropped a fire remix and rap verse to "Drag Me Down," and Styles nearly blew out his voice with a big ol' high note.

One Direction's new album Made in the A.M. is out now.
