NGHTMRE and his bass-heavy, game-changing, trap track, "Street" just received a wild makeover from...NGHTMRE. In an unexpected release, the artist signed to Mad Decent Records, dropped a special, VIP edit of the original for his fans to enjoy.
The first time fans heard the original version of "Street" was during Ultra Music Festival earlier this year when Jack Ü (Skrillex and Diplo) dropped it. At the time, it was labeled as an "ID" (of course), but it was the track from that set with the piano riffs, that went down in key... ringing any bells?
The new mix of "Streets" arrives less than a year since Jack Ü released that track, which ended up becoming an official release on Mad Decent, NGHTMRE has set the tone for trap anthems across the board.
But, there's always room for improvement, so naturally, NGHTMRE remixed one of his own tracks, the previously unreleased (although played in various sets as an ID), VIP edit "Streets (VIP)."
"So excited to finally share this with you guys!!!! I made this version of Street about a month after I wrote the original and really liked how it sounded. I've been playing it in my sets so as an early christmas present I wanted to give it to you guys FOR FREE!! NGHTMRE said about the track on his Soundcloud page,
NGHTMRE has set the bar high for any trap track. With his VIP edit now released, the bar has been raised even higher, and NGHTMRE has proved that his skill-set(s) go beyond the standard, and now, are limitless. You can grab the VIP edit for free here.
