When Ariana Grande teased the release of "True Love" earlier this week, fans had no idea a whole new EP would be arriving from the pop star, but that's what she'll be delivering. As an early Christmas gift to her fans, Grande is expected to release a new six-song holiday EP later today (Dec. 17).
"True Love" is expected to be one song of six on the new EP, which PopCrush reports is called Christmas & Chill. The album is filled with all original songs: "Wit It This Christmas," "December," "Not Just on Christmas" and "Winter Things" along with an intro.
Fans should have guessed what was up. Grande has slowly been teasing songs on her Snapchat account all week and been subtly tweeting out lyrics. Also, on Wednesday (Dec. 16), she pretty much all but confirmed that something was coming out today, just one week before Christmas Eve.
This new EP wouldn't be the first time that Grande has rolled out holiday music - she's a veteran of Christmas at this point. In 2013, she released another four-song EP Christmas Kisses, which featured covers of "Last Christmas" and "Santa Baby" as well as two other original songs. Last year, she released another new Christmas tune, "Santa Tell Me."
After rolling out her holiday EP, Grande is expected to release her third studio album Moonlight in 2016. That album is currently being led by the single "Focus."
