Drake and Justin Bieber have made their friendship known for quite some time as both entertainers tend to swap covers of each other's tracks, comment on each other's social media posts and even collaborated before on the 2012 Believe track, "Right Here." Now, it seems Bieber is moving his way up the family tree and has a surprise in store for fans, this time with the help of Drake's dad, Dennis Graham.
The Canadian rapper's father, who has quite the Instagram presence with 126,000 followers, took to the social media platform to post a picture of himself with the Purpose singer on Wednesday night. "We have a surprise coming soon stay turned," the caption teases with an abundance of music notes, red "100" and praying hand emojis. Could this be teasing a possible musical collaboration?
It's not so far-fetched, seeing as how Graham has a background in the music industry, according to MTV News. Drake even raps about it on the If You're Reading This Than It's Too Late track "You & The 6."
"Having conversations with momma, we start talkin' bout dad," the former Degrassi actor raps on the track. "You know he dropping a single / He saying this is his window / That n*gga still wearing linen, that n*gga still in the club / Call him after we get off the phone and show him some love."
Well, there's photo proof the proud papa has been in the studio lately, giving fans of the "Jumpman" rapper something to look forward to until Drizzy fully drops Views From The 6.
The 21-year-old singer is wrapping up 2015 on top with multiple Purpose tracks "Where Are U Now," "What Do You Mean?" "I'll Show You," "Love Yourself" and "Sorry" taking over radio stations across the world. The pop sensation even dropped by a Laguna Beach night club to put his own reggae spin on Drake's "Hotline Bling."
