Apparently, Ab-Soul's tweet about leaking his own album came after a disagreement with his label. The misunderstanding between Soul and his TDE management made its way to social media but now that things are all good, Soul made a huge announcement.
TDE CEO Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith took to Twitter to reassure fans that the issues with his label had been cleared up.
Tiffith sent out a tweet Monday (May 5) that read, "Jus finished choppin it up wit @abdashsoul .Now that I've shown him wut da shelf looks like we a better understanding lol.. Now we kan leak."
He followed up encouraging fans to send out the hashtag '#blacklippastor' with a promising incentive.
"If I kan get some #blacklippastor on my timeline. I will let @abdashsoul leak the title of his new project. Later this week he'll leak date," Tiffith tweeted.
And just as promised, Soul revealed his album title hours later.
The Black Hippy rapper announced the title of his album as These days...
As previously reported, Ab-Soul tweeted about leaking his album last week.
"I'm this close to just leakin my sh*t like its a mixtape....," he sent out to his followers Thursday (May 1).
Last month, Soul didn't have a set release date but it looks like things are coming together.
XXL reported that fans will definitely have something to look forward to once the album drops, considering the wait and all.
"Since my release date has yet to be determined I've added a few more songs to my original tracklist...," Soul tweeted.
Stay tuned for the announcement of Ab-Soul's release date.
