Bonnaroo is a little more than a month away, and now the 2014 lineup has been officially revealed (an early version leaked on the mobile app a few weeks ago). As expected, there are some heartbreaking conflicts to consider.
The festival kicks off Thursday and features mostly up-and-coming acts. The worst conflicts we've noticed are Pusha T, White Denim, Poliça, Omar Souleyman and J. Roddy Walston & The Business.
Friday, Kanye West will have the opportunity to redeem himself as he headlines the night. As far as conflicts, the biggest ones of the day are between Vampire Weekend and Chvrches, Neutral Milk Hotel and Phoenix and Sam Smith and Dr. Dog. The late night sets also get tricky with Disclosure, Mastodon, Ice Cube and the SuperJam overlapping as well as Skrillex going up against Deafheaven and Chance the Rapper.
Saturday, Jack White takes the stage as the night's headliner. The worst conflicts of the day seem to be Cage the Elephant, Damon Albarn and Grouplove; Lionel Richie, James Blake and Ms. Lauryn Hill; and The Flaming Lips, Frank Ocean, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds and the interesting SuperJam with Skrillex and Friends.
Sunday Elton John closes out the festival, but earlier that day you'll have Arctic Monkeys going up against Fitz & The Tantrums and Warpaint, and The Avett Brothers against Broken Bells and City and Colour.
It will all be okay though. This happens every year, and there's enough great music to leave you satisfied come Monday morning.
Check out the full schedule on Bonnaroo's website. The festival takes place June 12-14 on The Farm in Manchester, Tennessee.
