Christmas came a bit early to Kanye West this year. The rapper was gifted a piece of artwork from Ben and Felicia Horowitz. The best part about it? It was made from vinyls of West's albums. The crushed vinyls are formed into a silhouette of West and pasted onto a canvas. Take a look at the artwork below.
The artwork, commissioned by Horowitz, was created by the artist Lobyn Hamilton. Hamilton has been known for his artwork that honors musicians and famous activists. He has previously been commissioned to make art for Nas and a few other well known musicians. Take a look at some of the artwork below.
With all the hysteria around his upcoming album, SWISH, and Saint's birth, this selfless gift must feel great for West. There are always rumors going around about West and his wife, Kim Kardashian, but the most recent are a tad bit crazy. It has been said that magazines are offering West and Kardashian between $2 million and $2.5 million for the first pictures of Saint with the family, including sister North. As you can recall, Kardashian debuted photos of North on Kris Jenner's show. She may be doing the same this time around since sister, Khloe, has a new show, Kocktails with Khloe! debuting soon. Either way, it has been said that KimYe will be declining the magazine offers.
For their sanity, we hope the Wests get to enjoy their new artwork and the holidays without too much more bother.
