Meek Mill and Michael Blackson recently teamed up for a good cause, but things turned sour after the comedian made reference to the MMG rapper’s beef with Drake. The two exchanged insults on Instagram and Twitter.
On Wednesday (Dec. 23), Meek and Blackson attended a charity event with Empire star Bryshere “Yazz” Gray in Philadelphia and shortly thereafter, Blackson shared a picture of the trio with a pair of elderly gentlemen. He captioned the photo with, “Home. In Philly giving back to the elderly with Cookie's son and Twitter fingers.”
This summer, Meek hopped on social media and blasted Drake for allegedly using a ghostwriter on the track “R.I.C.O.,” which was featured on Meek’s sophomore album, Dreams Worth More Than Money.
Following the Philly rapper’s allegations, Drake released two diss tracks. On the second track, titled “Back to Back,” Drake called Meek “Twitter fingers.”
“Yeah, trigger fingers turn to Twitter fingers / Yeah, you getting’ bodied by a singin’ n*gga / I’m not the type of n*gga that’ll type to n*ggas,” Drake rapped.
Meek replied to Blackson with a post of his own, writing in part, “We doing charity but we need to help him get some real Gucci sneaks! None of the kids knew who he wasssss!”

After reports of their online spat hit the Net, Blackson took to Twitter to clear the air.
Media take out, baller alert, vlad tv and the rest of ya punk beeches relax, meek is like my lil broda we roast eachother everytime for fun — Michael Blackson (@MichaelBlackson) December 24, 2015
Earlier this month, it was announced that Drake’s “Back to Back” received a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Performance. The announcement spawned countless memes with Meek as the butt of jokes once again, similar to what happened over the summer after Drake dropped his second diss following his initial response, "Charged Up."
