Waka Flocka Flame has always been known as a funny dude. From running for president and releasing a campaign video to just cracking jokes on the competition, Waka is quite the entertainer. But one thing is for sure, he also knows how to rap his ass off. Put his jokes and rapping skills together and we get "Ask Charlamagne."
The new track, a diss to the lames, is a gift for Waka's fans this Christmas. As most of you know, Charlamagne Tha God has a segment, 'Donkey of the Day,' on Power 105's The Breakfast Club. Waka used the segment as inspiration for this track. Listen to the Supah Mario produced song below.
Waka has been focusing on his project, Flockaveli 2 which is due to drop sometime soon. The album was originally slated for release in October, 2013 but then got pushed throughout 2014. It was then set to drop on June 1st, but June 1st came and went and no Flockaveli. Waka took to Twitter to express his frustrations with Atlantic Records for holding back the release of the album.
Instead of letting the label keep him down, Waka went ahead and released Flockaveli 1.5, a mixtape featuring production by Metro Boomin, Southside, YK and more. The tape was an instant hit and Waka allowed fans to stream it, download it and even purchase it in a package. The package included a CD, a vinyl, all access to any Waka concert and a FaceTime session with the rapper. What a way to make fans happy, huh?
Tell us what you think of "Ask Charlamagne," and your thoughts on Flockaveli 2. Will it be dropping soon? Or will the label push it back again?
