This year, Lady Gaga lived the dreams of children all over the world when she received a pony as a Christmas present from her record label, Interscope Records. The singer-turned actress took to Instagram to post a photos of her fairytale-like, white pony, revealing that it was a holiday gift from Steve Berman and John Janick of Insterscope Records, E! reports.
"Today on my doorstep was delivered a White Angel from heaven," the American Horror Story: Hotel actress wrote. It felt like the old days of the record business, she's such a spiritual girl! A heartfelt thank you to John Janick and Steve Berman, the whole Interscope family. I will ride, and care for, and love her forever. I was so surprised!"
The picture showcased the horse embellished with a pink bow and rein as well as a matching note for the Grammy-winning songstress and Golden Globe nominee. Three hours trailing the introduction of surprise steed, the "Born This Way" singer posted another photo, this time riding the horse around the beautiful scenery of her Malibu Mansion.
"I feel like I've known her my whole life she wants to show me things," the photo was captioned. Naturally, Gaga was dressed head to toe for the occasion with a white gown, thigh-high riding boots and a soft, angelic up-do. Gaga has had quite the year with a long list of accomplishments, spanning her successful portrayal in American Horror Story: Hotel, receiving Billboard's Woman of the Year award, notching a Golden Globe nomination and performing the iconic and proud NYC anthem, "New York, New York" at Frank Sinatra's Tribute gig, Sinatra 100.
During her Billboard Woman of the Year acceptance speech, Gaga highlighted the issues of gender inequality in the music industry. "What I really want to say is that it is really hard sometimes for women in music. It's like a f*cking boys club that we just can't get into," she said at the event, according to NME. "I tried for so long, I just really wanted to be taken seriously as a musician for my intelligence more than my body even in this business."
