It is the season to give to others and two of the biggest names in hip-hop have done just that. First Diddy made headlines when he gave a $1 million bonus check to his Bad Boy Records-signee French Montana. Appearing to not be hurting for money given his recent string of wins with singles and albums sold, plus show fees, French decided that there were other people who needed that money more than he did.
Shout out to @iamdiddy for that million dollar gift bonus #happyholidays

According to TMZ, Montana isn't going to spend a dime of his massive check (no actually look at it, it is one of those very large checks) and it instead giving the money to charity. According to Billboard, he is giving the money to a charity in the South Bronx, Entertainers 4 Education Alliance and their I WILL GRADUATE campaign. This is not the first bit of charity that French Montana has done for the charity. He also donated 100 pairs of Reeboks to the Bronx students in the I Will Graduate program.

In addition to the shoes and the big check, French also appeared to do a performance at a school earlier this month, which was well received.
