Just a few days after releasing a cover to Billy Joel's "Vienna," Mac Miller is back with some new music for fans to vibe to. The rapper released Run on Sentences Vol. 2, an instrumental mixtape. The project, a sequel to his 2013 mixtape, was announced by the rapper on Twitter.
The tape is almost 30 minutes long and was released on Miller's alter-ego, Larry Fisherman.
Miller's released his album, GO:OD AM, in September and soon after went on 'The GO:OD AM Tour.' The tour started on Oct. 6 in Rochester, New York, made a stop at the Odd Future Carnival on Nov. 14 and ended on Dec. 20 in Toronto. Miller was joined by special guests, Tory Lanez, Goldlink, Domo Genesis, Earthgang, Michael Christmas, and Alexander Spit.
The rapper was due to go over overseas for some international dates but a few dates were canceled. Miller cited exhaustion as the reasoning for canceling his New Zealand and Australia stops. He released a statement about the canceled dates:
"Today, it is with regret that Mac Miller is announcing the cancellation of his upcoming tour dates in New Zealand and Australia. After 3 long months on the road, playing over 70 shows in 90 days, he is postponing his trip due to exhaustion. Mac adds "Thank you to my loyal fans in Australia and New Zealand for all of the support over the years. I wouldn't want to perform for you unless I was 100% healthy and on top of my game. I promise I will be back to rock with you guys soon."
After announcing the tour changes, Miller told his Twitter followers that his favorite artist, D'Angelo, followed him on the social platform and mentioned wanting to do a joint project with him. Miller also teased fans with a Metro Boomin collaboration.
