On June 5, 2014 at 3 p.m., Show Dog Universal Music and Country Music Is Love will hold their 2nd Annual Fan Appreciation Party during the CMA Music Festival. A limited number of VIP tickets are available for $25 and include an exclusive gift bag and meet and greet with the artists prior to their performances. General Admission tickets are $10 and can be purchased online or at the door (cash only will be accepted the day of the show). All of the proceeds will go to Dreams With Wings and the Sarah Cannon Fund.
Dreams With Wings was started in 2000 by a group of individuals who wanted to improve the quality of services, programs, and community inclusion for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities including autism. The group seeks to empower those it serves by recognizing their strengths, contributing to their community and helping them pursue their dreams. The organization supports over 240 individuals and offers residential housing, an adult day program, supported employment, summer camps, behavior support and occupational, physical, psychological and speech therapies.
The Sarah Cannon Fund, established by PearlPoint Cancer Support, works to transform care and personalize treatment for those suffering from the disease. The fund supports the efforts and activities of PearlPoint, an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded to honor the spirit of comedienne Minnie Pearl, the stage name of Sarah Cannon who became a passionate supporter in the fight against cancer after she was successfully treated for breast cancer. PearlPoint is a direct services agency that provides cancer support and guidance, free of charge and regardless of treatment facility, to adults impacted by cancer across the country.
