We have already recapped a whole host of albums that are tentatively slated to drop in 2016, but veteran DJ RJD2 is looking to add his name to ring with a brand new LP of his own, titled Dame Fortune. The LP will be released on March 25 and he has unveiled the complete tracklist with collaborations alongside Son Little, Phonte Coleman, Blueprint and others.
The 12-track LP will be RJD2's first solo album since his 2013 full-length More Is Than Isn't.
To make things even better, he has shared the third track on the LP, "Peace Of What," which features the vocal of Jordan Brown. The smooth, jazzy instrumental flows beautifully underneath Brown's soulful vocal. Listen to the tune below.
To support the album, RJD2 will hit the road for some tour dates over the winter and spring. He will kick things off with two dates at the Brooklyn Bowl on Jan. 12 and 13 with a smattering of other gigs at clubs in cities like San Francisco, Washington D.C. and Austin over the next five months.
Check out the complete tracklist below and pre-order the album on iTunes before its March 25th release. Stay tuned for any more singles that may emerge from this LP in the coming months.
