Kanye West 'New Slaves,' Angel Haze Remix [LISTEN]: Young Rapper Covers 'Yeezus' Track, 'Got Bored' on Twitter, New Album 'Dirty Gold' Out 2013 [VIDEO]

Detroit rapper Angel Haze (real name Raykeea Angel Wilson) is getting ready to release her debut album, Dirty Gold, on Universal Republic later this year. In the meantime, she decided to remix Kanye West's Yeezus track "New Slaves" because she "got bored," according to her Twitter account.

Haze keeps the song's choruses while remixing some of the verses to address issues of rape, corrupt cops and drugs. Here's an example of how she altered some lyrics:

"I'm not blind to this shit/ I see the festering of hate/ I know these times ain't changed/ That's just deception and a date."

The 22-year-old rapper has reportedly completed her debut album, Dirty Gold, and is just in the process of setting a release date.

Back in January, Haze released two diss tracks aimed at Azealia Banks. They were titled "On the Edge" and "Shut The Fuck Up". These clearly got some attention considering it was announced soon after that she would be featured on XXL Magazine's "Freshman Class" cover.

Angel previously remixed Lana Del Ray's "Blue Velvet" cover as well as Cat Power's "Manhattan" (with Ryan Hemsworth). Although her Del Rey remix was not released, her take on "Manhattan" has turned Haze into a buzzing artist with plenty of anticipation surrounding her new album Dirty Gold.
