As if the anticipation and hype behind Tha Carter V album wasn't enough in its own, it is believed that Lil Wayne will be embarking on a summer tour to promote his upcoming release.
YMCMB artist Lil Twist recently broke the news via Twitter.
The young MC sent out a tweet saying, "Touring with my big brother this summer... #C5."
The idea of Wayne going on tour is no surprise but does this mean that the album will be coming sooner than later?
Lil Wayne has yet to speak out or tweet about a possible tour or when to expect the album.
As previously reported, Wayne is calling on some big names to help with the album.
Earlier this month, Soulja Boy told The Fader that he would be working on what is said to be Wayne's last solo album.
"I'm working on Diddy's project right now," Soulja said. "He's doing his last album right now, it's called Money Making Mitch. That's been taking up a lot of my focus. So is theCarter V. When I was in Miami I did like two beats for CV, and I just been tryna go back in on them beats and make them the best for Tune."
Juelz Santana recently told Vibe magazine that Wayne asked him to come work in the studio as well.
No word yet whether the two will be working on Tha Carter V or their shelved I Can't Feel My Face collab.
Stay tuned for more details on the Carter V tour.
