David Bowie, we're sure you've heard, has died. There will probably never be another artist like him. Last week, on his 69th birthday, he released his latest album, Blackstar, to rave reviews. You can stream it right here. Also, check out our previous list of his movie appearances worth watching ASAP.

While we mourn the death of one of the most important entertainers of all time, we can celebrate an important moment in music that occurred last week, too. Kendrick Lamar took to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to perform his song "Untitled 2" for the first time on TV. Watch this performance right here.

Dame Fortune is the newly announced 2016 album from Philadelphia-based producer RJD2. On top of revealing the new record information, RJD2 shared his latest song, "Peace of What," featuring singer Jordan Brown. Have a listen right here:

The Thermals have announced their 2016 effort, We Disappear, this past week, with a great taste of things to come. Their new single, "Hey You," was produced by former Death Cab for Cutie guitarist Chris Walla. Have a listen right here:

Yeasayer announced a 2016 album, Amen & Goodbye, with the lead single, "I Am Chemistry." You need to listen to this song, which you can, right here:
