(Photo : Universal Nashville) While there is a lot of big summer tour news, nothing is bigger in summer news in country than the CMT 2014 Music Awards. With the list of performers just announced, big news just got bigger! On June 4th, the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville will welcome Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood, Eric Church, Florida Georgia Line, Luke Bryan and Miranda Lambert to the stage as they wow fans in the audience as well as those at home with live (and amazing) performances.
Thus far, each one of the acts also has some skin in the game on the nominations side, especially Lambert, who leads the field with a total of six nods. Now if CMT would just add a little Dan + Shay, Thomas Rhett and Lady Antebellum, I can think of at least one music journalist who would feel like the night was complete!
