Since 2009, when five women from Texas started it, the Boot Campaign has worked hard to help America's heroes - our military (both active duty and veterans). The nonprofit offers help with jobs, housing, wellness, urgent needs and family support. This week, the Zac Brown Band joined artists like Charlie Daniels, Colt Ford, Eli Young Band, Gretchen Wilson, Mel Tillis, Randy Houser, Phil Vassar, Dolly Parton, Florida Georgia Line, Kacey Musgraves, Josh Thompson, Gary Allan, The Rankin Twins, Oak Ridge Boys, George Jones, Craig Morgan, Joe Nichols, Lee Greenwood, Kix Brooks, Justin Moore, Josh Turner, Joey + Rory, Joe Diffie and Brantley Gilbert in the campaign.
The ZBB guys laced up their combat boots and posed for their official Boots Campaign photo and then it was time to work! They hit the floor for an early run for the 5th Annual Pushups for Charity. During the annual event, which will kick off on May 17 (Armed Services Day) and run through June 28, where it will end in our nation's capitol, Americans throughout the country will show their support of the 1.4 million men and women who are currently serving by doing as many pushups as they can in 90 seconds. Their goal is to have Americans complete 1.4 million pushups and raise $1 million to serve troops through the Boot Campaign. In past years, Pushups for Charity has raised more than $600,000 for the Boot Campaign.
Join Zac and the guys today. Find an event or host one and help our military. Change a life in only 90 seconds.
