Drama isn't the only thing explored on VH1's popular reality series Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood. TV personalities Ray J and Princess Love revealed they took their relationship to the next level by getting engaged. In a recent interview with OK!, Ray J shared details of his proposal while Princess Love flaunted her huge diamond ring on Instagram.
The 34-year-old singer has had his relationship with Princess Love on display for the world to see for seasons now. Fans of the show have witnessed the on-again, off-again couple overcome arguments and get knocked down by various disagreements, but love was ultimately able to conquer all obstacles.
Ray J, who just so happens to be the younger brother of Grammy award-winning singer Brandy, surprised his 31-year-old fiancée the day after Christmas while flying out to Arizona. Holding her to a high regard in his life, Ray J was eager to pop the question in an extravagant way.
"We were going to Arizona; I got the private jet and called her best friends and parents to come out the day after Christmas," Ray J told OK! magazine. "They hid on the plane...I pulled out the ring, and I started crying."
That gorgeous rock on her finger is described as a cushion cut halo diamond ring. Princess Love was reportedly overwhelmed and overjoyed when she saw him down on one knee.
Although she agreed to spend the rest of her life with him, Ray J admits he was worried and concerned that she might turn him down.
"Maybe she'd think we should wait a little longer," Ray J said. "But she knows where my heart is and the connection we have. She's a true ride-or-die woman for me."
After the proposal, Ray J and Princess Love celebrated together in an intimate gathering with his parents, Sonja and Willie Norwood.
