Sure, it's a little different than "Yesterday" and "Michelle." But you have to give Paul McCartney credit... he certainly does not mind trying new things.
The legendary rocker has released a new video for "Appreciate," a single off his 2013 album New. The video shows McCartney in rare form – dancing about and jamming with an android named Newman. Well, perhaps that's rare form for anyone.
Directed by Andre Chocron, "Appreciate" takes us through a museum of humans which includes the famed Beatle as an exhibit posing with his bass while surrounded by other historic and iconic instruments. Acting as a sort of night watchman, Newman approaches McCartney, causing the latter to "come to life." Together, the two begin on a journey throughout the museum where each exhibit then proceeds to come alive.
From then on "Appreciate" morphs into an all out dance party happening inside the museum, featuring a truly entrancing, electronica type of groove all the while. And let's not forget Newman's shredding guitar solo.
