When the K-LOVE Fan Awards hit Nasvhille on the last weekend of the month, they will be partnering with the Run For Love 5K to raise money for the Hands & Feet Project. The run, which will be held on May 31 at the Opryland Hotel, will help raise awareness about Hands and Feet's mission - to help care for the orphaned and abandoned children of Haiti.
In a press release, Mark Stuart, Executive Director and Co-Founder of the Hands & Feet Project, talked about teaming up with K-LOVE, saying, "The K-LOVE Fan Awards was a fantastic event last year. This year, the fan experience will be more exciting and more significant as the K-LOVE Fan Awards and the Hands & Feet Project are teaming up to bring hope to Haiti's orphaned and abandoned children by putting on the Run For Love 5K Run. Where else can you break a sweat with some of your favorite artists and your friends to bring hope to the children of Haiti? It's all about love, so sign up today!"
For an entry fee of $30 per person, participant will receive registration to the race, an artist swag bag, a race t-shirt, a fundraising page to help raise funds and awareness for the Hands & Feet Project and the chance to run alongside some of the top names in Christian music. Confirmed artists include: Audio Adrenaline, Citizen Way, City Harbor, Finding Favour, Josh Wilson, KJ-52, Matthew West, Rhett Walker Band, Sanctus Real and Tenth Avenue North. K-LOVE will also have their own team, with a few of their on-air hosts running for the cause.
