Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Coldplay, Adele, and Muse Lead International 2016 Tour Ticket Sales

Just one month into 2016, there has already been a major tour announcement for just about every music fan across the globe. A handful of the world's biggest artists dropped the news of their major world tours toward the end of 2015, and many of the tours have already sold out an impressive number of arenas in both the U.S. and overseas. Tours from Muse and Coldplay are leading the way for the rock music scene, while Rihanna, Justin Bieber and Adele are three of the most in-demand tours on the pop side.

Below is a breakdown of the hottest upcoming tours overseas, with pricing information provided by ticketbis.

Rihanna | The Anti-World Tour | Average Ticket Price Overseas: $139 | Most Expensive Ticket: $930 | Average Price of Previous Tours: $122

For Rihanna fans, patience is a virtue. Although the 27-year-old has been teasing the release of her eighth studio album, Anti, for months, fans have remained patient, and although some believe the album will drop on January 22, there is still no official release date for the upcoming record. Rihanna has kept fans eager with the anticipation for the album's supporting world tour, The Anti World Tour, which is scheduled to launch on February 26 in the U.S., and then on June 11 overseas. Rihanna is no stranger to sold out crowds: Internationally, 34% of RiRi's ticket sales come from Chile, 18.9% from Poland, and 14% from France. As it stands now, the average Rihanna ticket price overseas is $139, with her most expensive ticket going for a whopping $930, in Belgium.

While Rihanna is already on track for a huge 2016, it would be hard to trump the success that Adele has already seen following the release of her enormously successful third studio album, 25. Tickets for Adele's tour sold out so quickly that fans took to the web to express their outrage, but the hard reality remains: Adele is currently the biggest artist in the world, and it's going to cost a ton to see her live, whether it's in her hometown across the pond, or in the middle of the U.S. The "Hello" singer will launch the overseas portion her of Adele Live 2016 Tour on February 29 in Belfast, and as it stands, the average ticket price for her tour is $291, with the most expensive ticket priced at $5,742. To compare, the average price of Adele's previous tours is just $92. So far, 12.2% of Adele's international sales come from the U.K., 11.4% from Spain, and 11.1% from Mexico.

Justin Bieber | Purpose World Tour | Average Ticket Price Overseas: $187 | Most Expensive Ticket: $504 | Average Price of Previous Tours: $168

Whether you're a Belieber or not, there's no denying that Justin Bieber is on track to have a huge year. In November, the 21-year-old sensation dropped his much-awaited record Purpose, and the tour dates for the album followed shortly after. Justin Bieber will be heading out on the road overseas from September 9 until November 29 where it ends in London, England, at the O2 Arena. As it stands, tickets to see Justin Bieber overseas are averaging $187, with his most expensive ticket going for an impressive $504. The average price of Bieber's previous tours is $168, showing that the pop star has been a consistent force over the years. As of now, 26.1% of The Bieb's sales are coming from Spain, with 17.7% from Italy, and 14.2% from Germany.

Could Coldplay's upcoming tour be their last? Maybe not, but fans aren't taking any chances. Following the recent announcement of their seventh album, A Head Full of Dreams, British rockers Coldplay announced that they'd be hitting the road for the first time in three years. The tour will launch overseas on May 24 and run until July 6 and tickets to see Coldplay are not cheap, as the most expensive ticket is currently priced at $1,580. Across their previous tours, tickets averaged just $145. Overseas, the biggest demand for the band has been in Mexico, where 18.8% of their tickets have been sold. 17% of the band's sales have come from Spain, and 10.2% from Argentina.

Muse | Drones World Tour | Average Ticket Price Overseas: $136 | Most Expensive Ticket: $649 | Average Price of Previous Tours: $111

English Rock band Muse will launch their overseas portion of their Drones World Tour on February 26 in Norwich, England. The tour will extend until June 14, and tickets for Muse have seen significant demand internationally. The tour, which is in support the band's seventh album Drones, is currently averaging $136, with the most expensive ticket averaging an impressive $649. Out of every stop overseas, 26.5% of Muse's sales come from Spain, while 10.7% come from Mexico, and 10.3% come from France.
