The lineup has been revealed for the 2014 Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin, Texas. Topping the bill are heavy metal legends Judas Priest along, who will play their first announced U.S. tour date at the festival in support of their upcoming record, Redeemer of Souls. As Rolling Stone points out, it will be their first concert since they finished their Epitaph Tour and their first time playing Austin in 25 years. The upcoming album, described to Rolling Stone as "very heavy," is due out June 15.
Also headlining the three-day festival are Neutral Milk Hotel, Death Cab for Cutie, Nas, Wiz Khalifa and King Diamond.
Other notable acts include Yo La Tengo, Alt-J, The New Pornographers, Dinosaur Jr., First Aid Kit, Guided By Voices, City and Colour, Failure, Dum Dum Girls, Foxygen, and more at The Orange Stage.
Girl Talk, 2 Chainz, Atmosphere, Flying Lotus, Sky Ferreira, The Presets, Gary Numan, Cashmere Cat, Ginuwine, Z-Trip, and Run The Jewels (El-P/Killer Mike), among others, will perform on The Blue Stage.
The Black Stage will feature Death From Above 1979, Rocket From The Crypt, Death Grips, Gorilla Biscuits, Black Lips, Hot Water Music, Iceage, Sick of It All, Deafheaven and Jello Biafra and the Guantanamo School of Medicine, among others.
The lineups for the comedy and sports stages are expected to be announced soon.
The 9th annual festival takes place at Auditorium Shores and Butler Park from November 7-9. Tickets go on sale today on the festival's website.
