Dolly Parton bought a West Coast hideaway in April 2007 that was said to be the place that Natalie Wood grew up. This week, Dolly put the two bedroom, 1091-square foot home on the market.
Built in 1923, the property boasts Spanish architecture, motorized skylights, gated security with a camera system and a large covered deck with built-in seating, a BBQ, refrigerator and prep area. A private rear garden offers lush landscaping to round it out. A guest suite which was once the garage offers a wonderful place for guests or family members who want to be close while maintaining their own space.
Trulia estimates that with a $279,000 down payment, the mortgage payments on a 30-year fixed loan would run $6977 a month (which includes the estimated $1511 a month on taxes and insurance).
