High school student possibly banned from graduation for turning Juvenile lyric into nerdy science yearbook quote

Juvenile's "Back That A** Up" may be a twerking classic but administrators at Mundy's Mill High School in Ga aren't fans of the song's lyrics.

According to Vibe magazine, Paris Gray, the senior vice-president of her class at Mundy's Mill may be banned from graduation festivities after she snuck "Back That A** Up" into her yearbook quote.

Gray didn't write the lyric out verbatim, instead she took a more "nerdy" approach.

Gray's quote read, "When the going gets tough just remember to Barium, Carbon, Potassium, Thorium, Astatine, Arsenic, Sulfur, Uranium, Phosphorus."

After a quick reference to the periodic table, Gray's message is loud and clear.

"Basically, it was me just saying start all over again," Gray told WBSTV about her quote. "You have to go back and start all over."

The high school's administration has already taken serious action against Gray. They have kept her from participating in the senior walk and she will not be allowed to give a speech to her fellow graduates at the graduation ceremony.

Gray's mother had a less tense reaction saying, "My first reaction was, 'you are such a nerd.'"

"It just completely destroyed me, and my mom's been telling me don't let it ruin my happiness but it's like really taking a big toll," Gray said.

It has been reported that Gray's mother met with the area superintendent and the principal Tuesday to determine if she will be banned from graduation.
