DJ Khaled deserves all the success and attention that he is getting lately. The producer has been putting out nothing but positive vibes and they are all coming back to him. Along with his keys of success, DJ Khaled was invited to be a principal for a day at a Miami middle school and it was an unforgettable moment for him and the students.
After the Miami Carol City Middle School won a nationwide attendance challenge, the principal invited DJ Khaled to be the principal for a day as a reward to the students. According to the Miami Herald, the school worked with Positive Behavior Coach to amp up the students to work on their attendance. "Throughout this challenge, our kids, their whole state of mind is like, 'We're losers,'" Thompson explained. "My challenge was changing their mind-set." The school ended up bringing their attendance rate by 8% up which brought them up to 96% percent.
Once bringing up their attendance rate, the school announced on Twitter that they would be having Khaled as the principal for the day. And the reactions were priceless. Basically everyone that doesn't attend Carol City Middle School was very upset that Khaled wasn't their principal for the day. Or like, forever.
Khaled read the morning announcements, meet some the students, got some cool school gear and at the end of it all, he made a big announcement all while documenting the day's events. Khaled told the students that he would be donating lunch for everybody from Miami Finga Lickin. But that's not the best part. He also donated $10,000 to pay for instruments. Talk about some major keys to success, huh?
