Afrojack and Hardwell have unveiled their new collaboration "Hollywood." It was first revealed that the pair were working on a new track in May 2015, sharing a studio photo at the time and now fans can own the tune that will be a big part of their mainstage festival sets.
Geared towards the big stages and even bigger crowds that these two play for each summer, the tune brings has a strong Dutch flavor with some jungle terror influence. The pair craft a big room track that their respective audiences will eat up with fast-paced synth leads, thundering drums and an anthemic break to keep the whole thing together and give the listener a breather from the breakneck pace in the drop.
If you were hitting an end of the day lull, this will jolt you wide awake.
The track is the first collaboration between these two Dutch DJ heavyweights in nearly seven years. They last collaborated in 2009 on the very different sounding "Let The Attack Begin."
This is the second track that Hardwell has already released in 2016. On Jan. 7 he celebrated his birthday with the release of a brand new original "Blackout," giving away the track as a free download.
This is the first track to emerge from the Afrojack in 2016. He told us last year that he was planning on releasing an album in February or March 2016. At the time he told us that the this collaboration with Hardwell with "basically finished" but they were just looking to put a rapper on it like 2 Chainz, which obviously didn't happen.
